Six Flags México, formally known as Reino Aventura, is an amusement park located in the Tlalpan forest and borough, on the southern edge of Mexico City, Mexico. Originally built and independently operated as Reino Aventura (''Adventure Kingdom'' in Spanish), it opened on March 3rd, 1982 and infamously housed a killer whale named Keiko from 1985 to 1996. In 1999, the park was bought by Premier Parks (now known as Six Flags Entertainment Corporation) and reopened as Six Flags México on April 14th, 2000.
